The most popular beach for water sports, located just 2 km from the city center. Along Navarinou Street, you’ll find schools and rental services for SUP (Stand Up Paddle), windsurfing, pedal boats, and canoes. Organized lesson packages are also available for beginners and advanced users, with safety equipment and guidance from certified instructors.
Almyros Beach
Approximately 7 km south of Kalamata, Almyros Beach is a favorite destination for windsurfing and kitesurfing thanks to steady winds and an open coastline. There is an organized center offering equipment rentals and personal gear storage. It’s ideal for both experienced athletes and beginners.
Mikri Mantinia Beach
Located about 10 km from the center of Kalamata, it offers calm waters and is ideal for SUP and snorkeling. Small organized spots provide rentals for boards and snorkels. It’s also suitable for families who want to combine exercise and relaxation.
